does anybody read my blog?

does anybody read my blog? a rather tenuous reference to the song going in my head. "i gotta, tight connection to my heart........."[bob dylan]. i have always loved that song. "has anybody seen my girl......." just great. after yesterday's blog, i have figured out, that the only thing going on in tauranga, is going on in my head. unless of course you're over sixty or still fourteen. still there was some excitement this morning. i was doing a severely dangerous 50k in a 50k zone when this divot of bovine excrement cruised up behind me and started to honk the size of his penis. loudly. i was however, able to contain my excitement. phew! i am over it now.
spent a bit of time checking out the entertainment on the "strand." lots of drunk teens and bands [once again teens] playing doobie covers. i come from welly where there is a healthy original culture in the music so this has been a step back to the early days. not good :-(
check out the wellingtonista blog and see how different life can be.

P.S. I'm surprised you have no comments on your blog -- quite interesting reading.

Oh, I just remembered what the hell is a caravan? Do you mean a van, a trailer, an RV (recreational vehicle)? If its only "four even strides" it is very small!

a caravan is like a trailor. actually i reckon it's 6 steps. just couldn't be bothered capitaliising. i haven't been blooging that long. i guess that might be a reason. i thought it was just boring to others. but it's my blog. pleased you find it interesting. just leave a note if you need more translation.

Thanks for the clarification! When I was young (oh, so long ago) a doobie was a joint and Doobie was a singing group! What's the weather like? We're hitting 101 degrees in Arizona now and the nights are around 80 degrees.

we are cold [nz], it is winter and living in a caravan with no heat is not great. temperatures are around 0 - 1 deg celcius.
the same re the doobie translation here:-)

By the way you write I'm assuming you're a fella? About 20-26 years old? A free spirit if you're living in a caravan. Sorry about your weather I checked it out on the internet and it cold, cloudy, and raining -- looks to stay that way all week. Get a down sleeping bag! Hang tough!

AZ USA sent me to check out your blog, i'm pretty new to blogging also (march '06) interesting writing i like the differences in terminology (i don't cap much myself, shift key is worn out and you really have to make an effort to hold it down) i can't spell worth bovine excrement. come check me out, you keep lnking with other blogs and yourreaders and hit will increase a lot, you may even want to get a counter, it motivates me to write if i know people are reading, keep warm.
