i don't like mondays [actually i do]

i have noticed that there are several advantages to dial up internet. when publishing, there is time to make a coffee and then come back to the laptop then stop the publish cause i've seen a mistake. isn't that cool. i also like the time i get to consider just what i'm going to write while i wait for the posting page to load. that wonderful option happens because it takes longer for the post page to load than it does for me to write the post. toilet breaks are a breeze when you have so much time. i just realised that it also helps to fill up my day [waiting for the dial up].
what is it that i like about mondays?
it means that i've made to another week of opportunities. we had a tsunami danger the other day. most of nz slept through it. our civil defence didn't let us know. we only found out because our loved ones called from overseas. but, here i am, sitting up in bed, blogging on dial up, enjoying another monday in the cold. i give thanks for every monday i get to be cold in, it is a special thing.
as yet, too cold to inflict myself on my guitars. it wouldn't be fair.

I pray that God finds a way to show you his blessings very soon. Until then, I pray for your comfort and calm assurance.

Good evening 10:30pm in Arizona! Spent the day with my significant other's Mother. She's 83 and quite the family matriarch! Hope you got to spend time with your Mum on Mother's Day. Wait a second, does NZ celebrate Mother's Day?

Have a great day!

Can't sleep it's now 2:06am! How big is Tauranga? I live in a megalopolis, ie., Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert, Peoria, Glendale, Apache Junction, Awatukee, Sun City, Avondale, Tollison, Goodyear, El Mirage, Sun City West... were all individual towns that have grown together into what is called The Valley of the Sun. When we visit relatives it takes two hours or more to cross the Valley in any direction. We've gotten accustomed to driving long distances! Gas is about $3.19 a gallon and of course we drive a gas guzzling SUV.

How's your Mum doing? I recalled in one of your posts she had cist removed.

there's more people in your megalopolis than there is in our whole country! there is about 4 million in nz and 1 million of them live in auckland. as you can imagine, there is lots of room in nz. i think there might be about 50-60k in tauranga. petrol [gas] is about $1.60 a litre and there are some four litres in a gallon. yes it's expensive. my mum is doing ok. we must now wait for the results of her biopsy. try and get some sleep.
